And yes, gamers are willing to pay for lower latency. They buy faster
computers, and faster networks to get better performance (lower latency),
to stay "alive".
I thought this behavior was nuts, until the lunch with a friend in the
graphics industry. He pointed out that on the scale of serious hobbies,
being a serious gamer wasn't at all expensive (costing maybe $2K-$3K/year).
A dedicated skier or scuba diver easily spends as much or more money on
their hobby.
