Randy, unfortunately if one checks the records, back to the beginnings of
the v6 effort, they will find that vendor and ops folks were quite
aggressive in claiming that v4 addressing would not be a problem until 2010
and that multi-homing was nothing to worry about.
Really, it was an impressive ostrich performance.
