All,

Let me please clarify some things, again as list admin:

a) *IMO* Jon's note does NOT correlate plagiarism with a nationality

b) *IMO* Jon's note _can be interpreted_ as correlating
   a nationality with doing more harm than good.

	i) I do NOT believe that is the best interpretation of what
	   he posted, but...

	ii) I DO believe it is one possible interpretation

This sort of issue is in the eye of the reader, not the author, and I
use that perspective when addressing these issues.

I hope that clarifies my position as list admin, and why it would be
useful to consider that perspective when posting as well.
