Hi all,

again, thanks a lot for the valuable pointers regarding packet loss
statistics.

The papers you cited were certainly an interesting read.  Extremely
helpful for our purpose -- which was to set up a testbed as
realistically as possible -- proved the PingER tool.  Access to the
available data ranging from 1995 until today is a real benefit.

One more reference:  CAIDA and NLANR also provide some useful resources.
