Hi, all,

I sent out a few notes off-list direct to those whose posts included
what could be considered ad hominem attacks.

As a reminder, such behavior on this list is a quick ticket to having
your posts held for administrative review - which means (at best) once
daily, with a 24-hour lag.

To be safe, please avoid any claims or judgments about individuals.

PS - Anyone who feels personally slighted can send me a note off-list,
and I'll evaluate the post and send them a warning if deemed appropriate
and not already sent.

PPS - If you've received more than one of these notes (as I'm catching
up), consider yourself on *very* thin ice.

PPPS - If you didn't yet receive a note, don't assume you haven't
exhibited poor behavior.
